Java Developer - Leading Crypto Exchange

Our client, a Leading Crypto Exchange, is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join their fast-paced and innovative crypto exchange platform. You will be responsible for building and optimizing high-performance, low-latency trading systems, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading and exchange applications using Java.

• Implement low-latency, high-throughput trading engines and order-matching systems.

• Work on API integrations for market data, order execution, and liquidity providers.

• Optimize system performance and scalability to handle large volumes of transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and product management.

• Ensure system security and compliance with industry regulations.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17), with experience in multithreading, concurrency, and high-performance computing.

• Experience in low-latency system design and real-time application development, ideally within financial trading or crypto trading.

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, or Cassandra).

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, or crypto protocols is a plus.

• Strong understanding of security best practices in financial or crypto applications.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
