We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with deep Microsoft Azure security experience to join a high-performing team focused on threat monitoring, security controls, and cloud governance. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on SOC operations with strategic security implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts from Azure-native tools, including Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
Conduct investigations, recommend remediation, and support post-incident reviews.
Lead the implementation of Azure security controls, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage patching and vulnerability remediation across cloud workloads and endpoints.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams on security projects and risk mitigation.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and audits.
Requirements:
5+ years of cybersecurity experience, including SOC exposure.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure security, particularly Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
Strong understanding of patch management, vulnerability management, and cloud security governance.
Project management skills and experience coordinating across teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC) are a plus.
