APAC Head of IT Procurement - Leading FSI

A leading global financial organisation is looking for a senior procurement leader to shape its technology sourcing strategy across the Asia Pacific. This is a pivotal role with regional visibility, responsible for building a high-performing function that balances innovation, cost efficiency, and governance.

What You’ll Do

• Establish and lead a regional procurement team focused on technology categories.

• Define sourcing strategies for software, cloud, infrastructure, and IT services.

• Partner with senior technology stakeholders to support transformation programs.

• Lead negotiations on complex vendor contracts, licensing, and service agreements.

• Develop frameworks and governance processes to ensure compliance across markets.

• Drive supplier performance management, ensuring value delivery and continuous improvement.

• Identify opportunities to optimise spend and simplify vendor portfolios.

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of experience in IT procurement and vendor management.

• Strong regional or global experience in multinational, highly regulated, or complex environments.

• Deep knowledge of APAC’s technology vendor ecosystem and commercial models.

• Demonstrated success in building or transforming procurement functions.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and senior influencing skills.

• Strong track record of negotiating large-scale, multi-million-dollar deals.
